The government shutdown is having a massive negative effect on our National Parks.

USA Today reported, “Human feces, overflowing garbage, illegal off-roading and other damaging behavior in fragile areas were beginning to overwhelm some of the West’s iconic national parks.”

Instead of focusing on the negative, here are some ways to help!

1. DONATE to the National Parks Foundation’s recovery fund.

2. Raise awareness by talking to your friends or posting on social media. Ask people to show respect and leave no trace if they visit during the shutdown.

3. Do both! Our “I Respect our National Parks” sticker will show everyone that you care and they should too! 50% of the proceeds will go to the National Parks Foundation’s recovery fund, so if you buy you will be contributing to the fund and spreading the word. Find it in our shop!

Bonus points: If you are close enough to a National Park or have the time to travel to one, go volunteer and help clean up!
